About
Stage Left Theatre Company is a community theatre company in Myrtle Beach. We are proud to make our home in the beautiful Market Common shopping district. We specialize in creating excellent, intimate works that everyone can enjoy!
We were founded in 2009 by our Artistic Director, Amber McCann. Originally our company offered classes to students of middle and high school age; offering showcases at the end of the class. Soon after that, we joined forces with the Cooper House Event Center in Socastee to produce monthly dinner theater in their historic general store building. In 2013, we moved into our current location at 3064 Deville Street in Market Common. Our current home is a 53-seat black-box style theater that was custom built to house our company. We are now reaching the end of our SIXTH season and could not be more happy with the work we have produced as well as the response and respect we have gotten from the community.
Our company is comprised of all local, volunteer talent and we pride ourselves on the fact that with each new show we add at least one new company member to our theatre family. We hold open auditions for our plays and welcome anyone to come and try out! We hope to continue on our mission of creating great theatre for the community and welcome the continued support of our wonderful patrons! See you on the stage!
