Minutes from the 11/28 Company Meeting
Hello everyone! Here is a recap of the company meeting for those who were unable to attend.
There are two main points from the meeting.
1. Miss Bennet will be Garrett's last Main Stage production with Stage Left.
2. Our rent has gone up. And we will need help raising money via sponsorships.
After all of these years, Garrett will be moving at the end of January. We wish him luck as he works toward the next stage in his career. That being said, we will need other members to take over different parts of the production process. He will be spending the next few weeks teaching people who are interested in directing, sound design and operation, lighting design and operation, etc.
So if you weren't at the meeting and are interested in learning more about the following areas: Directing, Stage Managing, Props, Lights, Sound, Costumes, Set Decorations. Reach out and we will train you. Many hands make light work.
Also, our rent has been raised 2.5 times. That, plus the back rent from being closed from Covid, means we need to make a bigger effort when it comes to fundraising.
We are asking you to be our network. If you know any business that would like to purchase ad space in the play bill, or be one of our sponsors (including our brand new ANGEL SPONSOR, information is linked below) please advocate on our behalf. This sponsorships are what is going to keep the doors open.
We are also planning a number of other fundraisers including revue shows, a golf tournament and more.
The main question is "Do you like having an artistic home enough to help us keep it." We need help. Artistically, logistically, and financially.
If you have any questions please contact Amber or Garrett.
